So many ways to wear flannel!

I finally found a flannel shirt I liked at Banana Republic. Oh, how I've missed you! Most of the shirts I came across were too huge and boyfriend-y with no shape, or too tight country-girl yee-haw, or the plaids were strange...like pink and purple and orange. Eew. I tend to like more traditional plaids, as long as it's not too Christmas red/greenish. And there's so many ways to wear a plaid! Baby and I played with different combinations after nap time since it's too cold and rainy to go out. I could come up with a bunch more, but I'm missing a few things I'm going thrifting for tomorrow. 

Today's outfit: boot cut denim

I've said before that I'm getting a little tired of skinny jeans. Especially jeans tucked into boots. It's  getting a little boring, a little passé. And I spotted my trusty, ancient boot cut Gap jeans in the bottom of my jeans drawer this morning. So I pulled them on.

And it's getting cold, so I'm in a bit of a mood for cozy. Especially hub's favorite sweaters. They are so slouchy, comfy, and--the best part--they smell like Ralph Lauren Polo Blue. Mmm.

I just can't decide if I like the sweater bloused a little or pulled down.
